Vegas was being anal AFTER the fact I captured footage, and it wouldn't let me render at 1280 by 720, but it still looks nice :-D

59.2 MB btw : I remember from uploading it :-D Amazingly small for a 2 and a half minute movie considering the raw footage took up about 40 gigs...

Yeah it compressed that quite nicely ;) The download is not your original file, but our own x264-compressed version. (We hosted original uploads before, but believe me it got way too much to hosting 600MB poorly compressed WMVs for a bunch of 5 minutes movies lol)

Just some advice also: I noticed that your upload was 720x480. You'd achieve much better quality (and conversion to noobflicks) if you used a consistent resolution from the very start of capturing the footage. For example, if you captured at 800x600, you should edit and export at 800x600. I know that 720x480 is a standard video resolution for DVD/DV work, but it's not the best for CS movies.

Pretty decent, only thing i that i would say is to record with an in-game res of 800*600 or 1024 at max. Because it's easier to see the names of who is fragging and getting fragged.

Haha, I know to do that. I had record my footage at 1208 by 720 but for some reason, whenever i tried to render it at 1280 by 720, it would just switch back to 800 by 600 after the fact that i had my footage, so I wasnt gonna re-record.

indeed...I'm really proud of the users who basically turned all that vote rigging around. We'll make sure it doesn't happen in the future, but this was a perfect example of how the majority rule fixes the problems of a few.
