explain what you mean by the footage becoming fuzzy. does it become fuzzy in the preview window? or does the encode become fuzzy as well?
it may be one of those things that vegas is tempermental about. try exporting uncompressed through vegas and using a 3rd party program to incode your audio. vegas is natively an audio engineering program, but it doesn't mean it doesn't suck at encoding it.
you're going to want to get vdubmod. it has more options than the regular virtual dub. just good virtualdubmod and the first or so links should be efficient.
Within the next 2 or 3 days I will be recording and uploading a step-by-step guide for you guys to follow. It's going to be in a combination of video/text format. If you guys want specific things within the video, post it here and I'll be sure to include it within the tutorial.
