problems uploading

Try using firefox instead (version 2 or higher) and see if that gives the same results. Let me know how that goes and we'll see from there.

Audio out of sync

That's definitely AAC audio, as AAC is the native audio companion to any h264 (which is also called AVC) video. I do know that mainconcept's codec is a little different than most, although AAC audio should be fairly standard. I would suggest you encode at 160kbps or higher and see...

Did ESEA have a new movie contest or something?

Interesting. I should have mentioned that I was referring to Firefox 3 for OSX (mac). On the mac, FF3 gives a big improvement.

not really a problem but u maybe?

haha, nice pic! 1) the vote # is definitely wrong lol, I will look into that 2) The % meter is always a little inaccurate with dealing with small files, such as your 13MB movie. The bigger your movie, the more accurate the file counter will be.

the movies

There are a few (about 15% of current videos) that has some sound out of sync. This was due to some problems in our encoding process (which has since been fixed). Some files, if encoded poorly by the user, will give occasional out-of-sync audio, but largely things are properly...

Analog Capture/Encoding Tutorial for NOOBS

we gotta make a video about this. I've added a 'Video Tutorials' category on the upload page for future sake.
